Pitaya Flowers Light Up the Night

March 12, 2014

Many people don't know this, but Pitaya (Dragon Fruit) is actually a beautiful flower before it grows into a super fruit. Some refer to it as the Moonflower or Queen of the Night because the Pitaya flower only blooms at night. The Pitaya flower takes about two weeks to grow, then wilts wilts during the day. The fruit takes it's place roughly two weeks later. Checkout this video below and see this magical flower come to life. Big thanks to BlueDogFilms for putting this video together. It really shows how amazing this fruit is. VIVA PITAYA:)
